I wasn’t around much this weekend in Blogworld as Ed and I took off Friday for a much needed respite in Lancaster, Pennsylvania! Hooray!
We met up with Jillian of Bella Rosa Antiques who lives in the area – and happens to be Ed’s cousin! Haven’t seen each other for years. Lots more on that in another post this week!
Getting in on Pink Saturday a little late with a few photos of the “pink” place we’d stayed – the Lovelace Manor Bed & Breakfast! We highly recommend it!
Here’s a few teaser pinks found in and about the manor –
Plenty more about the Lovelace Manor Bed & Breakfast, antiquing with Jillian, restful strolls and countryside venues – plus amazing homestyle eats to follow in upcoming posts – with stories on our adventures!
Sharing today with Beverly’s Pink Saturday on How Sweet the Sound.
I am glad you were able to get away this weekend, but you were in my neck of the woods and I didn’t know! We could have meet for tea!
I guess that will have to happen another time!

Happy Pink Saturday, Kathryn.
It looks and sounds like the perfect getaway. I know I would have loved it, too. I can’t wait to read more.
Oh, how lovely that you had a little get-away! We have been to Lancaster, Pa. We also visited Bird In Hand, Strasburg, Hershey, Philly and King of Prussia area. The Manor is a grand place to stay.

Such a beautiful building, I love the gorgeous Historical buildings you have in America, this one is very grand. Can’t beat the Victorian look interiors too,so homely. Glad you had a nice break. xx
Oh my! You make it sound so lovely, I want to go! LOL.
Looking forward to more on the antiquing hunt, etc!
You do know how to play!! What a place…
Blessings, Debbie
Oh, it looks absolutely wonderful! You had me at the very first photo.
And… I got a little something special in the mail today! You DO know that pink is precisely my cup of tea, right? It’s just so pretty, and I can’t tell you how much opening a treasure made my day.
