Peace, Be Still

And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.  But, He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow.
And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!”

And, the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

  9. I loved the quote about calming the storm OR calming the child.

Oh, that really touched me. Yes, the waves and wind don’t matter if HE reaches into me and gives me peace.

    GOD BLESS!

  12. I think that so many of us are in the storm for some reason. We’re holding on in faith that He can either calm it around us or calm it within us.

Peace, Kathryn, be still and know…

    hugs.

  13. This is a good reminder to help us remember that rather the storms are calm or raging, the Lord is always with us.

I would love to hear from you--share your thoughts!
