The Bee’s Knees!

“Bees do have a smell, you know, and if they don’t they should, for their feet are dusted with spices from a million flowers. “

Ray Bradbury
This quote made me think of all the bees I find playing around in my flowers each summer.  I’ve collected some interesting photos of them getting their fill and having too much sweet fun!
They passionately immerse themselves in the golden pollens – and by some mysterious means bring forth honey sweet.
But, not so sweet as my favorite thing . . .

How sweet are Your words to my taste,
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Psalm 119:103

  1. Good morning Miss Kathy! your Psalm post is one of my favorites! Lovely pix. My friend in MT has just started her first bee box and it’s quite exciting following her new adventure. I love bee. I plant a lot of herbs, even mix them in with my flowers as the bees just love them.
Happy summer dear friend. I think of you often during the week. I just haven’t been blogging much lately. Too busy!
    Love, Lady Linda
