Nana Duty

Another Pink Saturday and another one of my favorite things to post about – that perfect grandchild of mine.  You know the type – don’t we ALL have one if we are of the “nana” age? She’s just the most beautiful princess!

So, I’m packing my bags and heading north to New England to help celebrate THREE delightful years of this precious little soul bringing joy and gladness into the hearts of everyone she meets!

Poor Pop-Pop – he works at a university and can never take vacation time in August while students arrive on campus – so he will always miss the little gal’s birthday.  I’ll be traveling with Aunt Bethany and Uncle Dan, though.  Wow!  THREE YEARS OLD!  And, what a smart, clever, talented little something she is!!

She had a bit of an early start – THREE MONTHS – in fact.  Eager to get on with things and giving all her loved ones a bit of a scare at the time.  But, the Lord is faithful and brought us all through to her thriving at three-ness, today!  Read The Making of Miracles, the inspirational story of when she came into the world a preemie, born at just under two pounds, HERE.

Lots of Nana and Mackenzie adventures – and more to come, I daresay.  To that end, I will be taking a Blogland break until I return the last week of August when I’ll be plunging into lots of new adventures on my own.  Posts to the purpose forthcoming.

Leaving you for the week, dear ones.  I hope to be back to Blogland with some awesome end of summer posts.  I’ve some great stories in the works!  But, for now, I’m back to packing the suitcase for my little vacation with . . . “See you soon!”
