Making Beautiful Things

Katherine Corner is asking us to post something that we just love on Thursday Favorite Things.  That’s easy for me this week!  I’ve been working joyously to ready myself for my first craft show of the season on Saturday, and spent yesterday creating three BEAUTIFUL THINGS!

Decidedly one of my FAVORITE THINGS to do!

Inspired by the Grace and Goodness of the Lord, I gathered up all sorts of odds and ends I had in my studio and spread out over two work areas, placing various this and that’s as though they were puzzle pieces.

I am using my signature “floral frills” or aspects of them in my designs.

Isn’t it always delightful when that last piece fits in place and you see the big beautiful picture?

I’ll be showing these on Saturday and hope they sell to a good home.  There’s more mixed media vintage frill collages to come from my collections for the weekly craft shows where I’ll be showing, as well as my Etsy Shop @ Cameo Impressions.

Take joy this day!
