Blogoversary Sneak Peek!

Well – this is the week! The first week of March marking my introduction to Blogland THREE YEARS ago!

3 years blogging

How much has changed in my life since that time! And, how I have grown in the use of this online communication medium! There are so many generous bloggers who have helped me along the way with technical know-how and inspiration for new ideas to challenge my creativity.

I love the community here in Blogland, and am excited as I embark on my fourth year of posts – with some thrilling new features!

Blogging is a growth process. Tools become available that empower you to expand your reach and the quality of your blog product.  Bloggers produce the words and images that spur readers onto greater things, higher thoughts, enhanced skills and inspired creativity in various aspects of their lives. I think we all hope to impact another person’s life with such treasures. We do this by:

Sharing the things created – or that we create – to enhance our world with BEAUTY . . .

Or, the CREATURES in our life that soften our heart with joy . . .

The words and images that captivate with WISDOM and comfort . . .

Romans 8-28

Or, the part other PEOPLE play in our lives – precious in God’s sight – family, friend or neighbor in need . . .

So many topics to write about and share through our stories! For me, as a Christian, it’s HIS STORY!

As bloggers, we hope to make the world in our sphere of influence just a little better for our taking the time to pour out of ourselves from the blessings of gifts and perspective we possess. I’m celebrating THREE YEARS BLOGGING where I have met so many inspiring and dynamic artists, writers and Christian sisters – kindred spirits, all – who have helped me to grow to that purpose!

Throughout this month, I am resolved to upgrade many aspects of my blog to be more of an Inspirational Resource to my readers, with more discipline and emphasis in sharing my devotional writings where I explore our relationship to God and the practical application of Biblical principles in a creative life. In addition, I will be launching a Children’s Literature Book Review feature where I’ll be sharing my opinions on the the art of reading – and reading aloud – with your child and as a family.

But, I’m most excited about hosting my NEW LINK-UP – launching at the end of the month!

Following much in the fashion of the pinks I’ve shared above, I’m calling it the ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL LINK-UP @ THE WRITERS REVERIE. Yes – that’s a mouthful, I know – but, when have you ever know me to NOT be loquacious?

I’ve taken my inspiration from the popular English hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful. Participants are encouraged to join me on the 4th Monday of each month when I open the link for a few days. Look back over what you have posted throughout that month and link your personal best blog posts to fit one of the themes. You will be able to link in up to four times – one post per theme. Original posts written specifically for this link-up are also encouraged, but not necessary.

Sometimes we want an ENCORE platform to share a post that has blessed us – in the hopes that it may further be a blessing to new readers. My All Things Bright and Beautiful Link-up is a great place to allow your post an ‘encore performance’!

I’ll be posting more details on this – and my THREE YEAR BLOGOVERSARY GIVE-AWAY – later this month! I’m celebrating all month so look for something new each time you visit me – where I am in great hopes that you’ll always be blessed . . . and be a blessing!
