Joy in Giving

I do love to receive presents, don’t you?

But, how much more blessed it is to give than to receive!

Bloggers take great joy in this simple truth. Collectively I’ve found it is one of our favorite things. We look for reasons to host Give-Aways – desiring to reach out to our kindred sisters in Blogland with a little slice of our self that we might be a blessing in another’s life.

My Blogoversary Give-Away last month was won by Diane at Lavender Dreams.

She was so delighted with the gift package I sent, that she featured all the goodies and such lovely thoughts about The Writer’s Reverie in her blog post this week.

Do drop by and see how she’s arranged her goodies at Lavender Dreams! Blessings to you Diane – thanks so much for featuring me at The Writer’s Reverie!

  1. Enjoying the wonderful combination of a pair of minutes, a large mug of coffee, and chatting from Blogville this morning. I loved your pinks in the previous post and the message of the resurrection and promise of all things NEW. Now, I need to hop like a bunny over to Lavender Dreams to read that post. I like that blog.

  2. More blessed to give than receive. It’s true. And it’s one of the blessings that the Lord allows us. A peek into His loving and sacrificial heart.
