Summer’s end and school is upon us! Time to review our August summer fun at the All Things Bright & Beautiful Link-up!

Currently, I’m on another grand-girl adventure in New England celebrating her 4th birthday! She starts preschool this year – I can’t be more proud! You see, she’ll be going to school with her Mommy and Daddy who teach at the Christian school she’s attending. Just like I went to school with my children, teaching in the Christian schools they attended. Our little school girl celebrates her birthday at the end of summer each year a week before the first day of school. Among her many gifts, she was provided with all her uniforms, and Nana tucked in a little Richard Scarry for all the basics our new scholar will need when she’s reading on the homefront!

Ain’t she sweet?

As our children head off to school for another year, may our prayers be with them for all good things and beauty to be a part of their education. It ain’t like it used to be, and there is much I mourn concerning where contemporary education places its priorities. I am thankful that there are still academic halls where firm foundations are in place. I am even more thankful that my grand girl will be in attendance in a school just so.
