Welcome to Fable Springs Sneak Peek!

So, how’s that dream coming true thing going for you?

I’m kinda-sorta in the middle of a dream . . . coming true. You see, I dream a lot about hanging out in idyllic English country villages that looks a lot like this:

The Town Square

Or, perhaps taking some quiet time with the Lord and my journal in a cottage garden that sorts looks like this:

Of course . . . spending some time in a sweet little tea room sipping a cuppa with a friend or two with scones while we watch the horse and cart pass by out the window on the cobblestone road closely resembling this:

For the past ten years I have been working as a performance storyteller with enrichment programs designed for schools, churches, libraries, and community groups.

I have also performed with my husband – a performance storyteller in his own right – ministering Bible stories and biblical principles in churches via a Wild West theme. Along the way I’ve written, produced, directed, and performed in countless theatrical dramas under my own business name of Pageant Wagon Productions, in addition to church drama ministry.

And, all the while I’ve written my books.

Many of them.

In various stages of completion.

Awaiting publication.

I waited around for the day when some yet unknown publisher might stumble across my work, and then stagger back in amazement, begging to discover me and introduce my bestsellers to a waiting world marketplace!

Yep – that was me hoping someone else would do the job so I could stay in my comfort zone of an eggshell.

The dream that my husband and I might actually publish under our own imprint as Pageant Wagon Publishing.

An Impossible Dream, more like . . .

Well, after ten years of performance storytelling as Miss Kathy of Pageant Wagon Productions LLC – it’s time to break out of my shell of dreaming about publishing my own works in print and just DO IT!

Since returning from the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference six weeks ago – things have started to materialize quickly.

A dream coming true.

We’re running a CROWD FUNDING CAMPAIGN through PUBSLUSH – designed for authors and publishers. Crowd-funding is a wonderful new tool to help writers, artists, inventors, and small businesses find contributors to help them reach the financial goals necessary for making their career dream come true!

I have the product.

I have a talented support staff waiting in the wings.

All I need is the financing and Pageant Wagon Publishing will be off and running – with an ambitious publication schedule through 2015 and new speaking programs to promote the publications.

more to come
